Lawrence “Luke” A. Davis, 53, of Oxford, formerly of Kennett Square, died Sunday, Feb. 3 at home.He was the son of Ronald and Dollie (Bonsall) Davis of Kennett Square. He was a 1972 graduate of Kennett High School.
Larry was previously employed by Thomas Power Equipment in Avondale, and various other automotive repair businesses in the area. He was an excellent automotive mechanic and enjoyed attending auto races.
Larry was also an avid fisherman and was most happy when he was fishing with his friends.
Besides his parents, Larry is survived by one daughter, Kristen (Stengel) Geist; one brother, Ken and his wife Claudia of Nottingham, one sister, Cindy Barker, wife of David of West Chester; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service celebrating Larry’s life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9 at Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home 610-444-4116, 250 W. State St., Kennett Square, PA. Friends and family may visit with the family from 10 to 11 a.m. before the service. Interment will be in Union Hill Cemetery.
